Weitlingkiez, a popular neighbourhood in the southern part of Lichtenberg between Rummelsburger Bucht, the Herzberge landscape park and the Tierpark open range zoo, is a green and welcoming quarter. It is still close to downtown, directly connected to the public transport network, and has a sound infrastructure including shopping centres, small neighbourhood stores, and medical amenities.
